A beachy quilt for my step-dad (Feb):
Nice, Normal Family (Feb): Obviously not a quilt, but smallest and I made this cushion one Friday morning just for fun. It’s a panel from Cat & Vee.
Transition Quilt (March): A token of our love at a sad time. Pattern is from Rachel Griffith’s book, Quilts Made With Love and it is free-motion quilted in a flower pattern.
Daughter’s Birthday Book Quilt (March): This one really needs a post of its own just for the insane quantity of free-motion quilting that I did. I got a bit carried away as I wanted it to be really special since she had waited a whole year. It was one of the first quilts I saw on Happy Quilting’s blog and thought that I must make for her. I used the same fabric line as her simple patchwork bed quilt to tie it all together (and really because it is such perfect fabric for a pre-teen).
